About Me...

I am a goofy, easy going, messed up, God seeking kind of gal.  I love life, love learning, love friendships, and most of all love my little family. I am a single mom blessed with the two most amazing kids on earth (biased I know).

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. This blog is intended to have trans denominational reach and embrace the goodness of all peoples beliefs and God's love. For we are all brother's and sister's in this cosmic universe. I love the teachings of many and believe that forgiveness is required to give as much seek. I believe in Jesus Christ, I know there is sin, I know that He is my Savior.

Where on earth did I get the name for the blog? Well, I wanted it to be "Better than a Hallelujah" but that was taken.  Here are some of the lyrics from that song, which touched my heart.

God loves a lullaby
In a mother's tears in the dead of night
Better than a Hallelujah sometimes

God loves the drunkard's cry
The soldier's plea not to let him die
Better than a Hallelujah sometimes

We pour out our miseries
God just hears a melody
Beautiful, the mess we are
The honest cries of breaking hearts
Are better than a Hallelujah

The woman holding on for life
The dying man giving up the fight
Are better than a Hallelujah sometimes

The tears of shame for what's been done
The silence when the words won't come
Are better than a Hallelujah sometimes

Better than a church bell ringing
Better than a choir singing out, singing out

We pour out our miseries
God just hears a melody
Beautiful, the mess we are
The honest cries of breaking hearts
Are better than a Hallelujah
